16 Sept. Our FIBROHEAT group has been selected as a beneficiary of an OpenLab-CEO 2022 OpenLab-CEO grant. Thanks to this grant one of our projects will be oriented to patent some of our potential anti-fibrotic solutions. Congratulations to the group.

Accepted two oral presentations in colaboration with CIC-BiomaGUNE (Jorge) and one poster presentation in colaboration with CIC-BiomaGUNE and Göttingen University (David) submitted to the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) and the Spanish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM). Titles: Study of the characterization and therapeutic effect of fluorescent anti-fibrotic extracellular vesicles. Genetically engineered extracellular vesicles as fluorescent nanocarriers encapsulating a novel theragnostic nanotherapy targeting fibroblasts. Study of myocardial fibrosis in a 3D human organoid with fluorescent nano-therapy.

CONTRATO PARA REALIZAR MASTER EN BIOMEDICINA O PERIODO POSMÁSTER

Descripción: Se ofrece un CONTRATO para la realización del Máster en Biología Molecular y Biomedicina en la Universidad de Cantabria durante el curso 2019-2020, o para periodo experimental tras finalización del máster.

Se busca un graduado en Bioquímica, Biotecnología, Biología, Química, Medicina o área similar que tenga interés en la realización del Máster de Biología Molecular y Biomedicina en el Instituto de Biomedicina y Biotecnología de Cantabria-Universidad de Cantabria. El trabajo realizado por el estudiante tendrá continuidad hasta la presentación de su TFM. Si ya ha realizado el máster se planteará la realización de un periodo práctico pre-Tesis Doctoral en el área de Biomedicina y con el objetivo de utilizar herramientas biotecnológicas de última generación (nanotrasportadoes y moléculas terapéuticas fluorescentes) orientadas a la aplicación biomédica en deterioro cardiaco. La duración del contrato inicial es de 1 año, con posibilidades de extensión del mismo.
